August 11, Steve Czaban had the one of the crotchetiest shows to date, snipping at Scott Linn over yet another politically charged trigger issue. Toward the end of the show, Czaban alluded to a feeling that tomorrow would be a better day. He was right: August 12 marked the return of Steve Solomon, laid off over four months prior. I was definitely surprised, and it happened not a day too soon. I’ve been catching up on shows, and Linn’s been out. I’m hoping the show finds its groove again once all the triad is back in place. Maximum listenability probably won’t be achieved until the pandemic era is over. Til then, the COVID bitching will continue, but at least Solly’s back. I wish I could say the stand-in held his own, but I’d be lying.
