  • Mike Greenberg, have you no shame?  Greenberg’s return to radio trims an hour off of Dan Lebatard’s show.  He’s the consummate company man.  He’s the Mickey Mouse of Disney sports radio.  Never has a controversial or organic thought came from his mouth.  These career decisions have presumably served him well with ESPN, with the freedom to carve out an hour of the Dan Lebatard show to restart his talk radio career.  Maybe this is the beginning of the end for the Lebatard show as currently constituted, or maybe this is yet another temporary shift in Greenberg’s story arc.  Either way, this makes the national ESPN Radio broadcast even less appealing.
  • I found some new-to-me Virginia Tech sports podcasts. Hopefully, they’re not too annoying.  Timing is nice, since Tech Sideline podcast output is at a full stop right now.
  • Arnie Spanier lives!  I was a fan, but haven’t listened to a show of his in over 20 years (back when 1 on 1 Sports Radio was a thing).  Podcasts of Spanier’s Vermont-based sports radio show are available, and I’ll check a show out… even if just for nostalgia’s sake.
